Vince Myers Named ENR MidAtlantic 2025 Legacy Award Winner

Vincent Myers, has been announced as the Engineering New Record (ENR) MidAtlantic 2025 Legacy Award honoree for his commitment to advancing superior architecture as well as diversity, equity and inclusion in the built environment. Recognized for leadership in championing people of color, women, students and seniors, Myers has been featured in the March print issue of ENR East, the industry trade publication’s newest magazine covering the MidAtlantic states.

The following testimonials from colleagues, as featured in ENR, highlight Myers contributions:

Dr. Bibi Taylor, a former school board member in East Orange who worked with Myers previously and now has a leadership role in nearby Union County, NJ, was impressed by Myer’s “work ethic and client-first approach,” which were “deeply ingrained in him” by his father. “His legacy is not just in the buildings he designs, but in the trust and respect he earns with every project.”

Asher Schlusselberg, partner at Plymouth Group, noted, “Vince’s natural positivity, creativity and energy make him a wonderful partner for a developer who faces countless challenges and detours as a project progresses. He can get to the heart of the problem in only a few minutes, sort to the challenges and present a way forward that is efficient and often simple.”

For more than two decades, Myers has been an instrumental force along with co-founders Jeffrey Venezia and Rich Alderiso in navigating the MBE/DBE/SBE-certified firm’s growth and expansion. During this time, Myers has been focused on delivering mission-driven projects that embody DIG’s “Architecture for Change” axiom across Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York and beyond. In addition, his impact extends well beyond architecture.

Through Myers’ active involvement in high school- and college-level mentorship and scholarship programs, volunteer initiatives and community outreach, he makes it his personal and professional mission to ensure historically underserved populations have access to STEM-related careers like architecture as well as thoughtful, inclusive design solutions.

“It is truly an honor to receive this recognition from ENR MidAtlantic for a body of work that is extremely personal and has been my source of inspiration and motivation throughout my career,” said Myers. “This award extends beyond me, reflecting the collective efforts of the entire DIG team whose passion for creating meaningful spaces continues to drive our firm’s mission. We remain committed to designing environments that foster inclusion, accessibility and opportunity for all.”

In addition to being spotlighted in ENR-East’s March edition, Myers will be honored this fall at ENR MidAtlantic Regional’s Best Projects Awards in Baltimore. In addition to highlighting Myers as the 2025 Legacy Award honoree, the event will celebrate the MidAtlantic Region’s Project of the Year, Excellence in Safety, Excellence in Sustainability, Project of the Year, Owner of the Year, Contractor of the Year and Design Firm of the Year.
